Winston-Salem Dash News Release
The Dash and Hillcats conclude their three-game this evening at Wake Forest Baseball Park. Winston-Salem will attempt to avoid being swept as they will send RHP Jacob Rasner to the mound. Lynchburg will counter with LHP Jeff Locke. The first pitch is scheduled for 5 p.m.
TONIGHT'S PROBABLES
W-S: RHP Jacob Rasner (2-0, 2.84)

LYN: LHP Jeff Locke (2-6, 5.17)
After beginning the season in the bullpen, Rasner is making his 9th start of the season and first against Lynchburg. He faced the Hillcats in two relief stint and allowed 2 ER in 5 IP. The right- hander has been dominant in the starting role going 2-0 with a 2.05 ERA and he is coming off six shutout innings in a win in his last outing which came against Salem. Overall, opponents are only hitting .198 against him with left-handers at just a .180 clip. His 2.84 ERA is 4th best in the Carolina League.
Locke began the season with Myrtle Beach prior to being traded to Pittsburgh and joining the Hillcats. The southpaw went 1-4 with a 5.52 ERA in 10 starts with the Pelicans and losing his only start against the Dash on May 19 (4 runs, 4 hits in 4 IP). Since joining Lynchburg, Locke has gone 1-2 with a 4.25 ERA in 6 starts and will be facing Winston-Salem for the first time.
