NEWS & NOTES

- Heading into their matchup at Madison Square Garden on Tuesday, June 5, the Fever and Liberty are both 4-0. That is the first time in its history that the Liberty have ever been 4-0, while Indiana is 4-0 for the second straight season. That game will mark the first time in WNBA history that two teams with records of at least 3-0 have played one another.

- Tan White's team-high 20 points vs. Washington, June 3, included 16 in the second quarter alone. That tied for the fourth most points in a single quarter in WNBA history.

- Becoming just the second team in league history to go an entire quarter without a field goal, the Fever went the first 13:32 of the game vs. Washington without making a shot from the floor. That was the longest any team in league history had gone without a field goal to start the game.

- Dating back to 2005, and including all four games this season, the Fever has won 20 of its last 22 games in which it has scored at least 70 points.

- Including its win over the Mystics, June 3, the Fever has won 18 straight games in which it has held the opposition under 70 points. With an average of 68.75 ppg, the Fever is the only team in the WNBA this season that has held its opponents to an average of less than 70 points a game.

- In the game at Minnesota, the Fever shot better than 50 percent from the floor for the first time in 2007. The team shot at least 47 percent from the field in each of its three games and after missing its first 12 shots against the Mystics, 6/3, it made 18-36 FG (.500) the rest of the game.

- The Fever's games at New York, June 5, and vs. Houston, June 6, represent the Fever's first back-to-back of 2007. Indiana will play five back-to-backs this season and two in the month of June.
