
Independence Day rain washes out Rays-LumberKings

Southwest Michigan Devil Rays News Release
BATTLE CREEK, Mich. -- The Southwest Michigan Devil Rays and Clinton LumberKings were not able to overcome a downpour one hour before the game. Due to unplayable conditions in the outfield, the game has been postponed until July 5.
The Rays and LumberKings will play the first two games of their four-game series in a double-header beginning at 5:05 p.m. Tuesday night during Penny Hot Dog Night. The game was called after a 2:51 delay.
The Devil Rays are presenting their final morning game Wednesday, July 6, game at 11:05 a.m. The finale of this series will be played on Thirsty Thursday, July 7, at 7:05 p.m. The next Southwest Michigan Devil Rays fireworks display will be on Friday, July 22, at 7:05 p.m.
