
Ignite Implodes Against Legends

FRISCO, TX - Brandon Williams grabbed his second career triple-double as the Texas Legends (12-10) took down the G League Ignite (2-22) 132-111.
Olivier-Maxence Prosper opened the game with a high-powered dunk to set the tone for Texas' domination. Ignite tied it up 8-all two minutes in but the Legends responded with a 16-2 run. Ignite put up a fight late in the quarter and streaked through 12 unanswered points, making it a four-point game at the first break. Prosper put up a second 10-point performance in the second quarter to lead the Legends into a double-digit advantage (68-54) at halftime. Williams grabbed 24 of his points in the second half as the Legends cruised to their largest lead of the game (+25) and took the victory.
Williams finished with 33 points, a career-high 12 rebounds, 13 assists, and 2 blocks. Olivier-Maxence Prosper had a career-high 26 points, 8 rebounds, and 2 steals, and Theo Pinson put up 20 points, 4 rebounds, 9 assists, and 2 steals. Jordan Walker came off the bench for 19 points while Tyler Hall added 14 points, 3 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 blocks and Warith Alatishe made his first Legends start with 10 points, 2 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 steals.
Tyler Smith came off the bench to lead Ignite with 24 points, 9 rebounds. Izan Almansa and Dink Pate added 16 points apiece with Pate dishing 9 assists.
