
Igawa Received from Scranton/ Wilkes-Barre

Trenton Thunder News Release
(Trenton, NJ) - The Trenton Thunder, Double-A Affiliate of the New York Yankees, announced today that LHP Kei Igawa has been received from Triple-A Scranton/ Wilkes-Barre. In a corresponding move, RHP Grant Duff has been added to the Disabled List. The transaction leaves the Trenton 24-man active roster at two below its maximum.
Igawa has posted a 2-2 record with a 3.83 ERA in 11 appearances for Trenton this year. The former Hanshin Tiger and New York Yankee has appeared twice for Scranton/ Wilkes-Barre in 2011, allowing two earned runs in ten and two-thirds innings.
Trenton will wrap-up its six-game homestand Thursday night at 7:05 PM with the finale of a three-game set with the Harrisburg Senators. RHP Craig Heyer (6-3, 2.97) will get the ball for the Thunder, while Harrisburg will send RHP Tanner Roark (3-2, 6.67). Tune-in to the game on 91.3 WTSR-FM and on trentonthunder.com.
