Idaho Wins Fourth in a Row

BOISE, Idaho, February 16, 2011 - Jermareo Davidson had 19 points, 20 rebounds and three blocked shots as the Idaho Stampede won their fourth game in a row in a 113-102 victory against the Bakersfield Jam (21-13) on Wednesday night at Qwest Arena. It was the team's fourth straight game notching 113 points or more and brings Idaho to within five games of a .500 record (14-19).

The Stampede shot 50.0 percent from the field and collected 53 rebounds in the win. Idaho held the Jam to just 38.6 percent (17-of-44) shooting in the second half, as the home team won the last two quarters 60-51. Armon Johnson scored a game-high 27 points on 12-of-20 shooting, while Antoine Walker delivered with 21 points, eight rebounds and two blocks and Sean Banks contributed 19 points and five rebounds.

Jeremy Wise led Bakersfield with 25 points, while Willie Warren (eight rebounds, six assists) and Brandon Wallace (7-8 FG) each had 18 points off the bench. Bakersfield made 12-of-27 (44.4 percent) three-pointers, but committed 15 turnovers that led to 26 Stampede points.

Tonight's game was the first of five home games in a row against the Jam. They return to Qwest Arena on Feb. 25 and 26 at 7 p.m. Idaho plays in Utah on Feb. 21 at 7 p.m. in their first action after the All-Star break.
