
Bighorns Trade Alton Ford to Erie for 2011 Draft Pick

RENO, Nev.- The Reno Bighorns signed and traded Alton Ford to the Erie Bayhawks yesterday for a 2011 7th round draft pick.
Ford, a 6-9, 275-pound forward from the University of Houston, last played for Reno during the 2008-09 season. In 36 games between Reno and Rio Grande Valley that season, Ford averaged 9.6 points and 6.9 rebounds per game.
The draft pick now gives Reno a full complement of eight picks in the 2011 D-League Draft.
The Bighorns are currently enjoying the All-Star break. Fans can watch Bighorns forward Marcus Landry compete in the Three-Point Contest during the 2011 Dream Factory Friday Night presented by Haier, which will stream live online at 8 p.m. PT this Friday night at nba.com/dleague.
