FRISCO, TX - The Texas Legends (18-21) fell to the Idaho Stampede (15-26) 93-111 in front of a sold out home crowd at Dr Pepper Arena Tuesday night.
Idaho completed a wire-to-wire win going up by as much as 21. Treveon Graham put in 18 first-half points as the Stampede out-shot the Legends 52% to 45% and carried a 20-point lead into the locker room. The Legends cut the lead to 12 early in the third, but Idaho spread their scoring and went into the fourth up 83-65. Corey Hawkins had 11 fourth-quarter points complemented by eight from Graham as the Stampede held off the Legends' final efforts to seal the double-digit victory. Idaho outrebounded the home team 48-34 and grabbed 58 points in the paint to Texas' 28.
Tu Holloway led the Legends with 18 points, 3 rebounds, 5 assists followed closely by Patrick Miller with 16 points, 5 rebounds, 6 assists, and 3 blocks.
Graham powered the Stampede with season-highs in scoring (30) and rebounds (18). Henry Domercant also added a new season-high with 19 points off the bench.
The two teams will rematch tomorrow night at 7pm at Dr Pepper Arena. The game will be broadcast live on Texas-47 as well as online through the NBA D-League's YouTube channel and www.kvgiradio.com.
