OREM, Utah, February 21, 2011 - Jermareo Davidson had 13 points and 11 rebounds and Portland Trail Blazers assignee Armon Johnson scored 23 points off the bench, but the Idaho Stampede (14-20) lost to the Utah Flash (19-15) 109-103 Monday night at the McKay Events Center.
Ronald DuPree led the Flash with a game-high 25 points and 11 rebounds, while four Utah players finished with at least 14 points: Brandon Costner and Ryan Thompson (14 points apiece) and Tony Gaffney and Kevin Kruger (15 each).
The Stampede were outgunned at the free throw line, making 17-of-24 for the game, while Utah made 17 in the fourth quarter alone (on 21 attempts, 81.0 percent). Idaho made just 9-of-29 shots in the final quarter, surrendering a two-point lead entering the quarter.
Willie Jenkins had 20 points and nine rebounds and Antoine Walker added 16 points in the team's first game after the All-Star break. All-Star Cedric Jackson had 12 points, five assists and five rebounds.
Idaho plays the Bakersfield Jam this Friday and Saturday at Qwest Arena at 7 p.m.
