IceMen Hosting Free Agent Camp this Weekend in Evansville

Evansville, IN - The Evansville IceMen, proud member of the ECHL and affiliate to the NHL's Ottawa Senators and AHL's Binghamton Senators, will be holding its annual Free Agent Camp this weekend-September 11-13 at Swonder Ice Arena in Evansville.

40 players are attending the three-day camp with hopes of landing on the IceMen's training camp roster, which starts October 2nd. The camp kicks off Friday night with two practice sessions from 6pm-7:30pm at the West Rink.

The games begin Saturday, with the first game scheduled for a 3:15pm start at the East Rink. The second game Saturday will start at 7pm at the West Rink. There is one final game scheduled for Sunday at 10am at the West Rink before camp breaks. Here is the official schedule:

Friday, September 11th:

- Team Black practice: 6pm-6:45pm (West Rink)

- Team White practice: 6:45pm-7:30pm (West Rink)

Saturday, September 12th:

- Game #1: Black vs. White, 3:15pm-4:45pm (East Rink)

- Game #2: Black vs. White, 7pm-8:30pm (West Rink)

Sunday, September 13th:

- Game #3: Black vs. White, 10am-11:30am (West Rink)

Two preseason games scheduled Oct. 9-10 at Fort Wayne

As previously announced, the Evansville IceMen will play two pre-season games in Fort Wayne on Friday, October 9th and Saturday, October 10th against the Fort Wayne Komets. Friday night's game is scheduled for an 8pm start and Saturday night's contest will start at 7:30pm. Both games will be at the Memorial Coliseum in Fort Wayne.

Evansville opens the 2015-16 season Saturday, October 17th at The Ford Center against the Indy Fuel at 7:15pm. 2015-16 IceMen season tickets are on sale now.
