Statement from Dr. Geoff Van Thiel, Rockford IceHogs Head Team Physician, regarding Matthew Highmore:
"Matthew Highmore underwent surgery on November 13th to repair injuries sustained to his right shoulder. The procedure was performed successfully by Dr. Scott Trenhaile and Dr. Michael Terry. We expect Matthew to make a full recovery and return to hockey in approximately 4-6 months."
Next Home Game: Friday, Nov. 23 vs. Chicago Wolves | 7 p.m.
The IceHogs will host the Chicago Wolves for the team's first-ever Hockey Fights Cancer night. The first 1,500 fans through the door will receive a FREE IceHogs LED fan, courtesy of SwedishAmerican. Proceeds from the postgame auction will benefit SwedishAmerican Foundation.
