IceGators' season-opener set for Saturday

Lafayette, LA â The Louisiana IceGators will open their eighth season of East Coast Hockey League play with a 7:05 p.m. tilt Saturday in Arkansas against the RiverBlades. The game will be broadcast on 105.1 KPEL-FM, and it can also be accessed via www.icegators.com by clicking on the live audio link. The IceGators' home-opener is Friday, Oct. 18 at 7:05 p.m. against the Mississippi Sea Wolves. That game kicks off a big weekend that includes another home game Saturday at 7:05 p.m. against Baton Rouge and a 4:05 p.m. game Sunday in Baton Rouge.
Fans holding tickets to this Sunday's originally scheduled home opener, which will now be played on Thursday, Nov. 7, can get a full refund at the place of purchase or trade the tickets in for the October 18 game at the Cajundome Box Office.
