IceDogs and OHL Release 2013-14 Schedule

The Niagara IceDogs and the OHL have released the 2013-2014 regular season schedule.
The Niagara IceDogs will open the season at home against the Mississauga Steelheads on Thursday, September 19th at 7:00pm. The game will mark the debut of Steelheads first round pick defenceman Sean Day, who was granted exceptional status and will be the youngest player in the league this season.
The IceDogs only have one home game in the month of September and will not return to the Jack until Thursday, October 3rd when the Battalion take on the IceDogs for the first time since moving to North Bay over the summer. The IceDogs will then take their first trip to North Bay a couple of weeks later when they take on the Battalion on the road on Thanksgiving Day, Monday, October 14th at 2pm.
IceDogs fans will want to circle their calendars for the home game on Saturday, November 9th as the IceDogs will look for some revenge against the Generals in Oshawa's lone regular season trip to St. Catharines.
Another date for IceDogs fans to look out for at home is Thursday, November 28th, when the IceDogs play host to the back-to-back OHL champion London Knights at 7:00pm in their only trip to the Gatorade Garden City Complex.
The breakdown of the schedule once again sees the majority of IceDogs home games played on Thursday (17) and Saturdays (9). The IceDogs also have four Friday home games, three Sunday home games and one Tuesday home game (New Year's Eve).
