June 27, 2013 - Ontario Hockey League (OHL)
Kitchener Rangers News Release

Place your bid on Justin Bailey's game-worn jersey from the 2013 Home Hardware CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game and support the Canadian Red Cross Flood Relief Fund. The auction is open now and runs until Sunday, July 7, 2013.

The jersey was worn by the draft eligible forward when he played for Team Orrin February's Top Prospect Game in Halifax, NS. The Williamsville, NY native was one of 40 players selected to participate in the event, which showcases the Canadian Hockey League's most promising players for the 2013 NHL Entry Draft.

The CHL is auctioning off Bailey's jersey, along with those of other Top Prospects and a sweater signed by all 40 participants to raise funds for those affected by the recent flooding in Alberta. Heavy rains caused extensive damage to communities across the province, and forced the evacuation of thousands of people. The Canadian Red Cross Flood Relief Fund is providing assistance to those in need across Alberta. Learn more at the Red Cross website.

Bailey was the Rangers' Rookie of the Year for the 2012-13 season, recording 17 goals and 19 assists in 57 regular season games. Ranked 38th by Central Scouting for Sunday's NHL Draft, he was also the OHL's Rookie of the Month for January. Earlier this month, USA Hockey invited the 17-year-old forward to their Evaluation Camp for the National Men's Junior Team, where he will compete for a spot on the roster at the 2014 IIHF World Junior Hockey Championship.
