IceCats Winger Recalled

WORCESTER, MA – St. Louis Blues Senior Vice President/General Manager and Worcester IceCats General Manager of Hockey Operations Larry Pleau announced today that left winger Peter Sejna has been recalled by the St. Louis Blues.

The 24 year old Sejna embarks on his second stint in the NHL this season, his first as a professional, after appearing in 41 games for the IceCats. During those 41 contests, the Slovakian-born winger registered seven goals and 17 assists: 41(7/17/24). His plus-7 rating is second-best on the IceCats. In his first campaign with St. Louis, the 5-11, 198 pound winger notched two goals and two assists in 18 games: 18(2/2/4)

Sejna recently finished the month of February with three goals and eight assists for a total of 11 points in 13 games played: 13(3/8/11). The 2003 Hobey Baker Award winner had points in nine of the 13 and inserted a four game point scoring streak in the month.

The IceCats return to Worcester's Centrum Centre for a 7:05 face off with the Hershey Bears on Saturday night and a 4:05 tilt with Springfield on Sunday.
