Coyotes reassign Pelletier to Falcons

Springfield, MA – The Springfield Falcons of the American Hockey League (AHL) today announced that goaltender Jean-Marc Pelletier has been reassigned to the club by their NHL affiliate, the Phoenix Coyotes.

Pelletier, 25, collected a record of 1-1-0, a goals against average (GAA) of 4.11, and a save percentage (SV%) of .857 in four appearances with Phoenix after being recalled from the Falcons on February 10th. The Atlanta native stopped 26 of 28 shots to post his first career NHL win by a score of 3-2 over the Columbus Blue Jackets on February 20th.

In 30 appearances with the Falcons this season, Pelletier has registered a record of 7-16-4, a 2.47 (GAA). The 6'3", 209-pound netminder is tied for 12th in the AHL with a .927 SV% this season and has collected two shutouts.

Pelletier will return to Springfield in time for the Falcons' home contest against the Portland Pirates at the Civic Center on Friday. Game time is 7:35 pm. Fans age 62 and over can receive their tickets to Friday's game for $10 at the Civic Center box office as it is "Senior Night at The Nest".
