Fri., Nov. 22

STJ 2 vs WBS 1

Eddie Pasquale made 31 saves and Patrice Cormier scored the game- winner as the St. John's IceCaps cooled off the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins at Mohegan Sun Arena at Casey Plaza. Pasquale was brilliant in the third period to help close out the win. Travis Ehrhardt picked up the other tally for St. John's.

WBS 5 vs STJ 2

The IceCaps surrendered five third period goals as they dropped the second of two games versus the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins at Mohegan Sun Arena at Casey Plaza. Eric O'Dell scored a pair of power play tallies with Brenden Kichton picking up helpers on both goals.

STJ 4 BRI 3

Jussi Olkinuora posted his first professional victory as the St. John's IceCaps rallied from a 2-0 deficit to edge the Bridgeport Sound Tigers in a matinee at the Webster Bank Arena in Bridgeport, Connecticut. Jerome Samson led the IceCaps with a goal and two assists, while Eric O'Dell and ex-Sound Tiger Kael Mouillierat each posted a goal and a helper for St. John's. Three of the IceCaps four goals came on the powerplay.

Jussi Gets the W: IceCaps netminder Jussi Olkinuora stopped 19 shots to record his first ever professional victory - 4-3 - over the Bridgeport Sound Tigers Sunday afternoon.

The Big E: IceCaps centre Eric O'Dell remains the team's leading scorer with 10 goals and 10 assists for 20 points in 19 games, good for a share of 12th place in the American Hockey League scoring race. His 10 goals are tied for eighth most in the league.

IceCaps Watch Parents: With a couple of days between games, the entire St.

John's IceCaps team and coaching staff took in the Winnipeg Jets -New Jersey Devils game Monday night at the Prudential Centre in Newark. The Jets beat the Devils 3-1.

IceCaps Give Back: IceCaps Care and the Williams Family Foundation donated $29,600 to five local charities prior to games at Mile One Centre in November.

Habitat For Humanity received $8,600, Citizens Crime Prevention Association were awarded $6,000 and the Royal Canadian Legion Poppy Fund, Goulds Elementary and Mazol Shriners all received $5,000 to support their endeavours in this province.

The Williams Family Foundation and IceCaps Care have donated more than $1 million through financial and in-kind donations since 2011.
