IceCaps Release Joyaux from ATO

April 7, 2016 - American Hockey League (AHL) - St. John's IceCaps News Release

ST. JOHN'S, NL (April 7, 2016) - Montreal Canadiens and St. John's IceCaps General Manager Marc Bergevin announced today the IceCaps have released defenceman Chris Joyaux from a 25-game Amateur Tryout contract (ATO).

The six-foot, 195-pounder recorded an assist and six penalty minutes in eight games with St John's.

The 23-year-old, Bloomingdale, Il native spent the past four seasons with Miami (Ohio) University of the National Collegiate Hockey Conference (NCHC), collecting five goals and 21 points.
