St. John's IceCaps News Release
Albany, NY - The St. John's IceCaps came from behind to defeat the Albany Devils 4-2 at the Times Union Centre on Friday night.
Morgan Ellis sniped a rocket from the point to tie the game at one apiece. Nikita Scherbak, Charles Hudon and Sven Andrighetto added a tally each in the win. Rookie netminder Zach Fucale was solid in net stopping 24 of 26 shots in a second star performance.
Albany outshot St. John's 26-17 and Jim O'Brien scored both goals for the Devils, earning him the third star of the night.
The IceCaps take on the Albany Devils again tomorrow afternoon at 3:30 NST.
