Winnipeg ICE captain Carson Lambos had four assists to pace the Winnipeg ICE to a 5-1 victory over the Red Deer Rebels Saturday night.

Lambos assisted on goals by Connor McClennon, Karter Prosofsky, Zack Ostapchuk and Vladislav Shilo as Winnipeg improved their record to 34-6-1.

Matthew Savoie also scored as the ICE enjoyed a 1-0 lead after the opening period and a 4-1 advantage through 40 minutes.

Mats Lindgren had the lone goal for Red Deer.

Winnipeg outshot the hosts 38-26. Mason Beaupit earned the victory in goal while Kyle Kelsey suffered the loss.

The ICE went 2/5 on the power play while the Rebels were 1/5.

Winnipeg concludes their three-game road trip tomorrow (Sunday) at 5:00 in Calgary (4:30 on CFRW 1290 AM).
