What Happened Last week: The Ice Pilots went 1-3 this past week losing at Baton Rouge on Friday night 4-3, winning in double overtime at Mississippi on Saturday night 5-4, losing at home on Sunday 4-3 to Baton Rouge and losing at Florida on Tuesday night 10-5. Gregor Baumgartner scored two goals in the game vs. Mississippi on Saturday night including the game winner and scored the first hattrick of the season for the Ice Pilots in the 10-5 loss vs. Florida.

NEXT HOME GAME THIS SUNDAY AFTERNOON: The Ice Pilots will play home to Toledo this Sunday at 5:05 p.m. This will be the only meeting of the year between the Ice Pilots and Toledo Storm. The only meeting between the two teams was on November 23, 1996 during the Ice Pilots first season losing at Toledo 7-4. Todd Gordon was the Head Coach of Toledo during the 1999-2000 season posting a record of 22-41-7 for 51 points.

POST GAME SKATE WITH THE PLAYERS ON SUNDAY: Kids 12 and under get in free with a paid adult and after the game is a post game skate with the players. Cost is $3 for the post game skate which includes skate rental.

ICE PILOTS PLAY AT JACKSON ON FRIDAY AT 7:05 P.M: The Ice Pilots will play the Jackson Bandits at Jackson on Friday night at 7:05 p.m. The Ice Pilots are 3-1-1 vs. Jackson this season including 2-0 at home and 1-1-1 at Jackson. Jackson won the last meeting at Jackson 5-2 on December 13th. The Ice Pilots have an all-time record of 11-12-4 vs. Jackson including 5-5-2 at home and 6-7-2 on the road.

ICE PILOTS INTRODUCE FOUR GAME GATOR HUNT TICKET PACKAGE: Fans will have the opportunity to purchase four games vs. Louisiana on January 25th, February 8th, February 15th and March 15th. Four tickets for as low as $40. If fans buy their tickets now, they will receive an autographed collectible program and first option to buy your seat for the Kelly Cup Playoffs. Purchase the Gator Hunt ticket package through the Ice Pilots office at 432-PUCK.

Community Calendar: The Ice Pilots will be serving meals at Loaves and Fishes on Wednesday beginning at 4:30 p.m. and will host a street hockey clinic on Saturday at Noon at Hill Kelly Dodge.

Ticket Information: Fans can purchase individual game tickets in person at the Civic Center Box Office, at any Ticketmaster location, Charge by Phone at 434-7444 or through the Ice Pilots website at www.icepilots.com. Individual game tickets cost $22 for floor and glass, $15 for sides, $13 for goals and lower upper and $10 for upper level tickets. Season tickets are available for the full season, 16 game plan, 8 game plan and flex package. Fans can call the Ice Pilots office for ticket information at 432-PUCK.

Group Tickets: Group tickets are available at the Ice Pilots office. A group of 15-24 will receive $2 off per ticket and scoreboard recognition. A group of 25-99 will receive $2 off per ticket, scoreboard recognition, the group leader receives two free tickets with a minimum of 25 tickets purchased and group members are eligible to become an MVP. Each group member fills out an MVP card, (cards are mailed with the group tickets), and drops the card in the MVP box at customer service before the game, and has the opportunity to win a valuable prize! Groups of 100 or more will receive scoreboard recognition, two free tickets, MVP cards plus $3 off per ticket and an opportunity to perform the national anthem or participate in the ceremonial puck drop (Subject to availability and approval).

Birthday Party's: Celebrate your birthday with the Ice Pilots. The Ice Pilots birthday party package includes hotdogs, cokes, cupcakes, 10 game tickets, a special gift pack for the birthday person delivered by Iceman, a birthday card signed by the Ice Pilots and scoreboard recognition. The package price is $200 for a party of 10 and $15 for each additional guest. For more information call 432-PUCK.

Ice Pilots top scorers: Greg Pankewicz is the top scorer on the Ice Pilots with 37 points and leads the team with 20 goals. Louis Dumont leads the team with 25 assists. Jeremy Van Hoof leads the team with a +18 plus/minus rating.

Player of the week nominees: Forward Gregor Baumgartner has been nominated for player of the week and Maxime Gingras has been nominated for goalie of the week.

Practice Schedule for week: The Ice Pilots will have Wednesday off and have a Spin Class at the Club in Gulf Breeze beginning at 11 a.m. on Thursday. The Ice Pilots will have no pre skate on Friday as there is no ice at the arena and will play at Jackson on Friday night at 7:05 p.m. The Ice Pilots will leave for Jackson on Friday at 11 a.m. The Ice Pilots will have off on Saturday as there is no ice at the arena and play home on Sunday vs. Toledo at 5:05 p.m. Times of practices are subject to change.

Columbus Game Time Changes: The Ice Pilots games at Columbus has been changed. The new starting time for the games on Tuesday, January 14th and Saturday, March 29th is 6:30 p.m. central time.

Assigned Players from Tampa Bay, Springfield and Grand Rapids: The Ice Pilots have four assigned pro players from Tampa Bay of the NHL. They are defensemen Jeremy Van Hoof, Marek Priechodsky and goalie Brian Eklund. Harlan Pratt is currently playing for Cincinnati of the AHL. Forward Chris Gignac, defenseman Brad Dexter and goalie Maxime Gingras are assigned from Springfield of the AHL. Gregor Baumgartner is assigned from Grand Rapids of the AHL.
