Iowa starter Randy Keisler scattered eight hits over six innings of work, but suffered the loss as the Round Rock Express defeated the Iowa Cubs 4-0 Sunday afternoon at Principal Park.

Keisler brought his Sunday best to the park in his first start with the Cubs, holding the Express scoreless for the first five innings. Round Rock broke the scoreless tie in the sixth on an RBI double by Marc Saccamanno.

Express starter Fernando Nieve allowed just one hit in five innings of work to record his first win of the season.

J.D. Closser, Luis Figueroa, Matt Murton, and Bobby Scales tallied the Cubs' only hits of the afternoon.

The Cubs had 34 hits in the series but scored just 14 runs in the four game series Round Rock took three of the four games.

The Cubs return to action Monday night at 6:35 p.m. at Principal Park when they start a four game series with the Albuquerque Isotopes. Iowa's Mark Holliman will face Albuquerque's Eulogio De La Cruz.
