Memphis defeated Austin twice last year to take the season series 2-1 from the eventual league champions, including a massive 22-point comeback on the road on Feb. 1 to sweep a back-to-back and a home win on March 20. On each occasion, the Spurs stood atop the Western Conference. Austin returns Jaron Blossomgame, Amida Brimah, Jordan Green, Jeff Ledbetter and Julian Washburn from last year's team.
