LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Cincinnati Reds top prospect Hunter Greene paced a shutout with six strikeouts over 5.0 scoreless frames, Logan Morrison tripled home two runs in the bottom of the first and the Louisville Bats blanked the Indianapolis Indians 5-0 Wednesday night at Louisville Slugger Field.

Greene cruised in his second start at the Triple-A level, retiring the side in order in each of the first three frames and capping that impressive run with four consecutive punchouts. Cole Tucker singled with one out in the fourth as the first opposing batter to reach base safely against Greene.

Morrison produced just his 12th triple in more than 2,000 at-bats in the minors, scoring Alejo Lopez and Narciso Crook and providing the Bats all the offense they required in the shutout.

R.J. Alaniz struck out two over 2.0 innings in relief of Greene, Edgar Garcia whiffed a pair in a perfect eighth frame and Jose De Leon slammed the door with a punchout in the ninth.

Bats second baseman Alejo Lopez tallied two more hits tonight in the win to extend his hitting streak to 11 straight games and boost his MiLB-leading hit total to 67 in 45 games this season.

The Bats and Indians square off again Thursday at 7 p.m. at Louisville Slugger Field. Reds ace RHP Sonny Gray (NR) is expected to make a rehab start for the Bats against RHP Max Kranick (1-2, 4.66).
