
Huet Helps Pats to Single Point in Shootout Loss

Regina, Sask. - Ewan Huet backstopped the Regina Pats to a point, making 38 saves in a 2-1 S/O loss to the Saskatoon Blades on Wednesday inside the Brandt Centre.
The Blades opened the scoring late in the first and took a 1-0 lead into the third period before Jaxsin Vaughan tied the game early in the third, making it 1-1.
Egor Sidorov would score the Blades only goal and Austin Elliott made 26 saves. Sidorov would score the shootout winner, leading the Blades to their fourth straight win.
The Pats have grabbed three of a possible six points over their last three games, while moving to 7-3-1-1 at home this season.

1-0 Blades at 12:18 - Egor Sidorov (14), unassisted (PP) // Sidorov skated to the top of the right circle and let a wrist shot go that beat a screened Huet to give the Blades a 1-0 lead.
Second Period
No scoring.
Third Period
1-1 Pats at 2:40 - Jaxsin Vaughan (2), assisted by Parker Berge // Vaughan got the puck at the point and let a wrist shot go that deflected off a Blades player, through a screen, and past Elliott to tie the game at 1-1 early in the third period.
