Saskatchewan Roughriders News Release

The Saskatchewan Roughriders announced today they have signed non-import offensive lineman George Hudson to a contract. The financial details were not released.

Hudson (6'4 - 310 lbs) spent the last five seasons with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats. In 2010, the 34-year-old dressed in nine regular season games while starting in the first four games of the season. He missed the rest of the regular season due to injury.

Prior to joining the Ti-Cats, the New Mexico State product spent four seasons with the Ottawa Renegades after being selected in the 2002 CFL Expansion Draft.

Hudson was originally drafted by the Edmonton Eskimos in the 3rd round (17th overall) in the 2000 Canadian College Draft. After attending training camp with the NFL's Dallas Cowboys that year, Hudson signed with the Eskimos in September and made his CFL debut that same week.
