Hamilton Tiger-Cats News Release
Hamilton, Ontario - The Hamilton Tiger-Cats announced today that the team has signed free agent linebacker Renauld Williams.
Williams, a 6-0, 228-pound native of Westbury, New York previously spent three seasons (2007-09) with the Saskatchewan Roughriders, where he recorded 98 defensive tackles, 29 special teams tackles, six quarterback sacks, five forced fumbles, one interception and one blocked punt in 31 regular season games.
"We're thrilled to sign a player of Renauld's caliber to our defence. He's an explosive player, and his addition will provide our exceptional group of linebackers with another outstanding athlete," said General Manager Bob O'Billovich.
