Riders Add Eubanks to Secondary

The Saskatchewan Roughriders announced today they have signed import cornerback John Eubanks to a contract. The financial details were not released.

Eubanks (5'10 - 173 lbs) originally entered the CFL when he signed as a free agent with Winnipeg in April, 2009. After being released he went on to play 11 regular season games with the Calgary Stampeders where he accumulated 36 tackles, one interception and one fumble recovery. The Southern Mississippi product also had six kick-off returns for 23 yards.

Prior to joining the CFL, the 27-year-old played two seasons with the Washington Redskins, appearing in seven games. He had seven tackles while having kick return duties for the Redskins.
