Hounds vs. Tulsa game preview

The Youngstown SteelHounds will play game one of a three game series tonight against the Tulsa Oilers with face-off scheduled for 7:05 p.m. The Hounds start their second homestand of the season with a 5-2-2 record good for second place in the Northeast division. Youngstown will look to their more offensive production out of their two recent acquisitions in veteran Tab Lardner and rookie right winger Doug Orr. Lardner tallied six points in two games against the Arizona Sundogs (3-3=6) and Orr contributed his first goal as a SteelHound on Friday November 10th in Prescott Valley, Arizona.

Tulsa will look to ride the wave of momentum coming off a 6-3 victory over rival Wichita on Saturday, November 11th. Center David Beauregard had a hat trick with one helper in the contest. The Oilers leading scorer is Brian LaChappelle with three goals and ten assists for thirteen points through eight games this year.
