
Hounds select Rachunek

With the 19th overall selection in today's CHL Import Draft, the Soo Greyhounds selected winger TOMAS RACHUNEK from HC Vsetin of the Extraliga U20 Czech League.
The native of Zlinwaldow, Czech Republic stands 6'0" tall and weighs 181 lbs.
In 41 regular season games this past season (07/08) Tomas had 12 goals and 25 assists, good for 37 points. Internationally, Rachunek has represented the Czech Republic in various Under-16,17,18 tournaments.
Tomas is the younger brother of New Jersey Devils defenseman Karel Rachunek.
