(Windsor) Hockey Canada yesterday announced that Spitfire forwards Joshua Bailey and Greg Nemisz have been invited amongst 45 of Canada's top junior aged players to attend Canada's National Junior Team Development Camp from July 25-29, 2008 in Ottawa, ON.

Bailey and Nemisz were both selected in the first round of the NHL Draft this past weekend in Ottawa, with the 9th (New York Islanders) and 25th (Calgary Flames) picks respectively. They also participated in the CHL Top Prospects Game earlier this year in Edmonton, AB and enjoyed career seasons this year with the Spitfires as Bailey scored 29 goals and 67 assists for 96 points in 67 games while Nemisz netted 34 goals to go along with 33 assists for 67 points in 68 games.

Bailey also represented the Windsor Spitfires at the 2008 OHL All-Star Classic in Sault Ste. Marie while Nemisz won gold as part of Canada's National Men's Under-18 Team at the 2008 IIHF World Under-18 Championship in Kazan, Russia.

The National Junior Development Camp is the first step in helping Hockey Canada determine Canada's National Junior roster in December. Hockey Canada will invite a shorter list of players to attend the final selection camp in late November or early December with 22 players being retained from the final camp to represent Canada at the 2009 IIHF World Junior Championship in Ottawa.
