LONDON, ONTARIO: London Knights General Manager Mark Hunter today announced that the team has selected Right Winger Sergei Korostin in the 1st Round ( 37th Overall ) in the 2008 Canadian Hockey League Import Draft. Korostin, 18 was the Dallas Stars 3rd Round Pick at the 2007 National Hockey League Draft. Khomutov stands 5.11 and weighs 180 pounds. He is a native of Prokopievsk, Russia. As a member of the Texas Tornado of the NAHL in 2007-2008 Korostin had 8 goals and 10 assists in 19 games.
