Moncton Wildcats News Release
Leading the Atlantic Division of the QMJHL, the Moncton Wildcats will lead a parade of excitement and joy to their young fans this coming Monday night.
The Wildcats players will make their third visit to the pediatric ward of the Moncton City Hospital at 6pm and then move over to visit children at the Georges - L Dumont Regional Hospital at 7pm.
"It is part of our team's on-going community involvement," explained Wildcats captain Matt Eagles. "Sometimes I think the players get more enjoyment from these visits then the children in the hospitals," Eagles continued.
"We are fortunate to be players in the Wildcats organization. We have our health and get to play the game we love in front of fans of all ages. To visit kids who are hospitalized, helps us realize our good fortune. The response from the children is always exciting. We have great fun making their day a little brighter. All the Wildcat players hope their health issues will improve, so they can come see us play at the Coliseum," Eagles concluded.
