In a dominant performance from the entire lineup, the Wildcats shutdown the Saint John Sea Dogs 6-0 on Tuesday night for a stranglehold 3-0 series lead in the Gilles-Courteau Trophy first-round playoffs.

The game-winning goal came amazingly at only 9 seconds into the game as Kuzma Voronin scored his first of two goals, beating Arseni Radkov shortly after the game started. Gavin Cornforth scored his 5th of the playoffs, others to First Star Preston Lounsbury, Alex Mercier and Simon Binkley. Former Sea Dog Max Vilen was strong along the blueline with two assists.

Rudy Guimond was unbeatable once again with a 22-save shutout. The Cats fired 40 shots at both Radkov and Rafael Courchesne.

THREE STARS:

#20 PRESTON LOUNSBURY (1G, 1A)

#2 MAX VILEN (2A)

#10 ALEX MERCIER (1G, 1A)
