CORPUS CHRISTI - The Hooks dropped the series finale to the San Antonio Missions Sunday afternoon at Whataburger Field, 3-2.

Eguy Rosario hit the go-ahead home run to lead off the eighth inning against Layne Henderson (L, 4-2).

The teams traded runs leading to Rosario's blast, with the Hooks scoring in the first and the Missions getting a run back in the fourth. Esteury Ruiz hit a solo shot off Jimmy Endersby, who scattered five hits and a walk over 5.0 frames.

David Hensley tied the game in the bottom of the fifth on an RBI double that scored Corey Julks from first. But Jordan Humphreys, James Reeves and Jose Quezada shut the Hooks down over the final 3.0 innings in relief of Tyler Viza.

Julks went 2-for-4 with a walk and accounted for both runs scored; he finished the six-game series 9-for-23 (.391).

The Hooks now head out on a two-city, 12-game road trip through Arkansas beginning Tuesday in North Little Rock against the Travelers.
