TULSA, OK - Jack Mayfield and Teoscar Hernandez accounted for seven runs Thursday night as the Hooks dispatched Tulsa 10-5 before a ONEOK Field record crowd of 8,762.
Mayfield is 7-for-13 with two doubles, two home runs and five RBIs on the season. Hernandez is 6-for-13 with 6 runs scored and four walks in his last 3 games.
Corpus Christi (4-3) began the scoring in the first, capitalizing on three Chris Anderson walks, a hit batsman and a fielding error by shortstop Erisbel Arruebarrena.
