CORPUS CHRISTI - The Hooks' upcoming six-game homestand is full of heroes.
On Thursday, June 4, there are the 1965 Solomon M. Coles Green Hornets, who captured Corpus Christi's first high school state baseball championship 50 years ago. The next night, there are the super heroes we'll celebrate on Comic-Christi Night, followed by a bobblehead of one of our great Hooks heroes, Hunter Pence.
Oh, and don't forget your 2015 Corpus Christi Hooks, who currently have the Texas League's best record!
Here's a look at it all, night-by-night:
Tuesday, June 2, Naturals @ Hooks, 7:05 p.m. (gates open 5:30)
-Half-Price Group Night; call 361-561-HOOK (4665) to learn more.
-It's AutoNation Family Night; 4 reserved-seat tickets, 4 hot dogs, 4 sodas and parking with voucher from Monday's edition of the Corpus Christi Caller-Times.
-The Hooks honor Champion of the Homestand, Brooke Hester of Brooke's Blossoms.

Wednesday, June 3, Naturals @ Hooks, 7:05 p.m. (gates open 5:30)
-Whataburger Family Day; buy a ticket at the box office and get your kid's ticket free.
-Donate your gently-used clothing item to Goodwill near the main gates at the giant Whataburger fry box. In exchange, you'll get a new Hooks t-shirt, ticket voucher and special Whataburger coupon offer!

Thursday, June 4, Naturals @ Hooks, 7:05 p.m. (gates open 5:30)
-1965 Solomon Coles Green Hornets 50th Anniversary State Championship Recognition, presented by Hurricane Alley and Brewster Street Ice House. All fans receive a Coles 1965 team poster. Autographs available on the main concourse from 5:30-6:30 and during the first inning.
-Thirsty Thursday (discounted soda and beer), from Stripes.
-After 8:30 a.m. on the 4th, go to the Stripes Facebook Page to learn the Stripes Thirsty Thursday Word of the Day. Later that day or night, repeat the word at the Whataburger Field Box Office and receive a free Hooks Thirsty Thursday reserved-seat or general admission ticket for each Thirsty Thursday ticket purchased.

-Comic-Christi Night, presented by Radiology Associates. Wear your favorite super hero or comic book character costume! Appear at the Whataburger Field Box Office and receive $1 off the price of your game ticket.
-If you wear a costume, you can join a pregame parade around the warning track at 6:20!
-Captain America and Superman are expected to attend; the Hooks will wear Captain America Jerseys, auctioned off to benefit Hooks Help, the team's youth-education-charity initiative.
-It's Educator Appreciation Night, contact Zach Kaddatz at 361-561-4714 for discounted tickets.
-Enjoy Friday Fireworks postgame, presented by Bud Light.
-Sign up at Guest Services to compete in the Texas Lottery Scratch-Off Dance Off.

-The first 2,500 fans receive a Hunter Pence Bobblehead from Wigington, Rumley, Dunn & Blair.
-Grande Grand Prize Game postgame, proceeds benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of South Texas; toss balls from the stands at $1 per try.
-It's Girl Scout Night at Whataburger Field, with a pregame parade at 6:20.
