Honkers Game with Blue Anchors Postponed

(Rochester, MN) - The Rochester Honkers game with the Alexandria Blue Anchors tonight in Alexandria has been postponed due to incoming inclement weather.

The game has been rescheduled to next Thursday, June 27, at 6:05 p.m. It will be the first game of a doubleheader - both games being seven innings - in Alexandria.

Rochester (14-9) will look to extend its seven-game winning streak when they return home to host the Duluth Huskies (12-11) on Saturday, June 22, at 7:05 p.m. at Mayo Field. Brandon Stennis (Doane College,) who was scheduled to start in Alexandria, is slated to start Saturday in Rochester. Phillip Wilson (Oral Roberts) is scheduled to be on the mound for the Huskies. The Honkers will be at home for two days before having their first off day of the 2013 season on Monday.

On Tuesday, June 25, the Honkers will begin a two-game series in St. Cloud, before traveling to Alexandria and Willmar for three games each. Overall, the road trip will feature eight games in seven days before the Honkers return back home to host the St. Cloud Rox on Tuesday, July 2 at 7:05 p.m.
