PEARL, MS - The Mississippi Braves host the Biloxi Shuckers for six-game homestand and Independence Day celebration at Trustmark Pari, July 4-9. The homestand begins with a Supersized Post-Game Fireworks Mega Show on Independence Day, July 4. The homestand will feature a 15th Anniversary T-shirt Giveaway on Friday, July 5 and M-Braves Replica Cap Giveaway and Post-Game Fireworks Show on Saturday, July 6.

HISTORY MADE: Mississippi Braves pitchers Ian Anderson and Jeremy Walker combined for just the third no-hitter in club history last Friday, June 28 at Trustmark Park. Anderson's 14 strikeouts also matched the late Tommy Hanson's single-game record set back in 2008.
THE FUTURE IS NOW: RHP Ian Anderson and OF Cristian Pache were named to the 2019 All-Star Futures Game roster which will be played on Sunday, July 7 at Progressive Field in Cleveland. The duo will represent the Atlanta Braves organization on the NL squad.

Did You Know? M-Braves OF Drew Waters is on pace for 177 hits this season, which would blow past the club record set by Ernesto Mejia in 2011 and then matched again by Dustin Peterson in 2016. The Southern League record is 187, which was set in 1981 by Chattanooga's Kevin Rhomberg. Waters is also on pace for 77 extra-base hits, which would be four shy of the league record of 81 set by Jacksonville's Gabe Kapler in 1998.

Independence Day Fireworks Mega Show: Trustmark Park is the place to be for baseball and Fireworks on Independence Day. We will have a larger than usual Fireworks Extravaganza following the game presented By Blue Cross Blue Shield of Mississippi.
Live Music - The Jackson All-Stars will be performing Dixieland Jazz and playing Patriotic tunes pregame from 5:15 to 6:30 on the plaza.
M-Braves Cornhole Tournaments - Join us on Thursdays this season for M-Braves Cornhole Tournaments presented by Central MS Corn-Hole & Good Times! We'll have competitive tournaments outside the Farm Bureau Grill on the right-field concourse starting at 6:00 pm. Great cash & prizes to winners! $5 entry per player.
