The West Virginia Power hit three home runs in a 5-1 win over the Lexington Legends in front of 4,902 fans Saturday night at Whitaker Bank Ballpark.

Daniel Arribas hit a solo homer with two outs in the second inning to give the Power a 1-0 lead. Lexington's Chase Vallot answered with a leadoff homer in the bottom of the second to even the score at 1-1.

Mitchell Tomlin put the Power back in front with a leadoff homer in the top of the fourth. The score remained 2-1 until two outs in the top of the eighth inning, when Christian Kelley singled and Alfredo Reyes homered. The Power added a final run in the ninth.

West Virginia starter Logan Sendelbach (1-0) worked the first six innings and picked up the win. Foster Griffin (1-2), the Legends starter, took the loss though he allowed three hits and no walks in seven innings.

In the eighth, Legends pitcher Franco Terrero was ejected after a pitch went over the head of Power batter Tito Polo. Both benches emptied, but there was no further trouble, although Legends manager Omar Ramirez was ejected in the argument that followed.

West Virginia has won the first three games of the series, which concludes Sunday. Game time is 2:05 p.m.
