Dale and Thomas Popcorn Field at Veterans Memorial Stadium Daily Specials!

104.5 KDAT Sunday Family Fun Day: Every Sunday home game, enjoy selected snacks for $1. Fans can get autographs from the Kernels players on the concourse from 1:20 to 1:40 pm. Play Travel Advisors Baseball Vacation Bingo for a chance to win a trip to see an Angels game. And after the game, kids (and adults) can run the bases and play catch on the field.

Mix 96.5/WMT AM 600 Belly Buster Monday: Enjoy all you can eat hamburgers, hot dogs, chips and peanuts for $7, plus the cost of a ticket.

1600 ESPN Sports Radio Triple Play Tuesday: A combo meal, consisting of a regular sandwich (hamburger, cheeseburger, hot dog or bratwurst), plus a 20 oz. soda or 16 oz. beer and chips or popcorn is just $6 all game.

Z 102.9 Wii Wednesday: Register at the main gates with Z 102.9 as two fans will play Wii games on the Rockwell Collins GameLink. Regular hot dogs are just $1 all game. Plus, the first 250 fans through the gates get a sample bag of Dale and Thomas Popcorn Indiana popcorn.

100.7 The Fox Thirsty Thursday: 12 oz. draft beer is $1.50 all game and get bottled soda and water for $2.

The Kernels return home for a short, but very fun, three game home stand with the 2007 MWL Champions, the West Michigan Whitecaps.

The Cedar Rapids Kernels are hosting their first 'Go Green' night at the ballpark, sponsored by Randy Kuehl Honda - Home of Honfidence Tires for Life on Friday, April 25 at 6:30 pm. During the event, each child through the gates when they open at 5:30 pm will be given a special punch card. As they walk from booth to booth on the concourse and visit our Go Green night sponsors, they will receive a punch on their card. When all the punches on their card are filled, they receive a free pass into the Kernels Kids Zone to play on our inflatable games. Special thanks to our Go Green night sponsors: Randy Kueh Honda - Home of Honfidence Tires for Life, Prairiewoods, Trees Forever, Linn County Solid Waste and Recycling, and Cedar Rapids Solid Waste Agency.

In addition to Go Green, the Kernels welcome students, parents and faculty from Regis Middle School and Wright Elementary to the game.

On Saturday, April 26, the Kernels welcome the Arthritis Association to the ballpark as part of Arthritis Awareness Day. The Arthritis Association will hold a raffle during the game for several prizes, including a Kernels game jersey, with their grand prize of a night in a Diamond Suite being given away during the Arthritis Association Walk on May 3rd here at Dale and Thomas Popcorn Field at Veterans Memorial Stadium. The Kernels welcome students from Summit School to the game and there will be a pre-game performance by the Just for Kix Dancers. Gates open at 1 pm with the first pitch scheduled for 2 pm.

Sunday is always a fun day and it's even more so on 104.5 KDAT Sunday Family Fun Day! Fans can enjoy $1 nachos, peanuts, popcorn and candy bars. Get autographs from the Kernel players on the main concourse from 1:20 to 1:40 pm. Play Travel Advisors Baseball Vacation Bingo during the game. And after the game, run the bases and play catch in the outfield, thanks to Steak N Shake. The Kernels welcome our guests from Bowman Woods and Viola Gibson Elementary schools to the game. Get here when the gates open at 1 pm - first pitch is scheduled for 2 o'clock!

Tickets for all Kernel home games are available on-line at www.kernels.com ; in person at the Kernels Ticket Office, or by calling 896-7560 during Ticket Office hours. The Kernels Ticket Office is open from 10 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday and from 10 am to 2 pm on Saturday. The ticket office is closed on Sunday, but opens at 11 am on Kernel Sunday Home games.
