Yule Love It: The Tulsa Oilers, winners of three straight games and 11 of their last 13, have two home games this week. They host the Texas Brahmas on Tuesday at 7:05 p.m. and on Christmas night (Saturday) will host the Wichita Thunder at 7:35 p.m. All games can be accessed via the internet at www.tulsaoilers.com and CHL TV.

GTR Cup: The GTR cup will conclude on Tuesday with Tulsa playing Jenks in the consolation game at 3 p.m. and Union and Broken Arrow in the championship at 4:30 followed by the Oilers and Texas at 7:05 p.m.

Staying Hot: The Oilers won three out of four games last week. A 7-6 loss to Wichita ended a six game winning streak but the Oilers have won three straight since then, beating Wichita 5-3, shutting out Allen 5-0 and coming from behind to beat Odessa 3-2 in overtime.

Head East: Defenseman Derek Eastman has eight goals this season, but has yet to score an even strength goal. He leads the CHL with seven power play goals. His other goal came shorthanded in overtime on Sunday to give the Oilers the win over Odessa.

Streaking: Chad Costello has the longest current point streak in the CHL at seven games. He has 11 points on four goals and seven assists in that stretch. Right behind him is teammate Marty Standish with points in six straight games He has a goal and six assists in those games.

Blank Blank: Ian Keserich is the first Oiler goaltender to register two shutouts in a season since Bill Ruggiero in the 2004-05 season.
