Hogeboom Named Sherwood CHL Player of the Month

NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, Texas (March 3)- He shoots and he scores, again and again. Brahmas forward Greg Hogeboom was named Sherwood CHL Player of the Month this afternoon for his outstanding performance in February.
Hogeboom had a remarkable month registering 27 points (14 G, 13 A) in 12 games, including a pair of game winning goals. On February 23, he scored his first hat trick of the season against the Wichita Thunder.
The crafty winger leads all Brahmas scorers with 74 points (32 G, 42 A) for the season and is sixth in the league in the same category. Hogeboom was awarded the second star in Oakley ¬â¢s Three Stars of the Month on Monday.
Texas hosts the Allen Americans tomorrow at 7:30 pm on Cap Night. The first 1000 fans in attendance to Friday ¬â¢s game will receive free Brahmas caps courtesy of ZuRoma Bar and Grill. The Brahmas introduce their first annual "Hockey-N-Heels" ladies night this Saturday when Texas hosts the Laredo Bucks for a 7:30 pm faceoff.
