Laredo Bucks News Release
LAREDO, TX- The Laredo Bucks of the Central Hockey League will induct two-time CHL All-Star Chris Grenville as the first member of the Bucks Hall of Fame on March 12th when the Bucks host Arizona at Laredo Energy Arena. The first 1,000 fans to enter the LEA will receive a FREE Chris Grenville Hall of Fame replica plaque.
In October Grenville received the most votes out of all of the Bucks' Legends who were eligible to make the Hall of Fame. The voting was comprised of the Bucks fan vote on Legends Night and Bucks front office staff.
Grenville, with his family on hand, will be inducted into the Hall of Fame at a special ceremony during the game that night.
Grenville is one of the greatest players in Laredo Bucks history. Grenville, an original Buck, played three seasons in Laredo from 2002-2004 and 2005-06 and helped lead the franchise to two CHL President's Cup Championships.

In 181 regular season games with Laredo he is in the top five in franchise history in goals (120), assists (124) and points (244), as well as in the top five in several single season records. Grenville's 120 career Bucks goals stood as a franchise record from 2006-2008, while his 45 goals during the 2003-04 campaign was the top franchise mark until 2007-08.
Grenville, from Thorold, Ontario, performed well in the postseason as he scored 43 points (21-2243) in 41 career playoff games with the Bucks.
In his career Grenville played in 676 games in 12 professional seasons and scored 703 points.
