HiToms Get Set for Big Week of Promotions

HIGH POINT/THOMASVILLE, N.C. - The Thomasville HiToms are gearing up for a big week of promotions at historic Finch Field this week as they host Little League Night along with Mighty Dollar Wednesday and the first Thirsty Thursday of the season.

Little League night is planned for Saturday night when the Martinsville Mustangs come to Finch Field for a double header. There will be two seven inning games with the first game set for a 6:00 first pitch, gates will open at 5:00. Any Little Leaguer dressed in uniform will receive free admission to the game.

Additionally, parents and coaches can gain entry to the game at a discounted rate of four dollars per person. However, you must call the HiToms office at 336-472-8667 prior to Saturday to sign up for the group rate.

"This will be a great opportunity for all little leaguers to celebrate the end of their season and enjoy HiToms baseball," said General Manager Jamie Curtis. "We look forward to seeing all the ballplayers at Finch Field on Saturday afternoon for our double header."

Also this week, the HiToms will host another Mighty Dollar Wednesday with one dollar hot dogs, 12 ounce fountain drinks and select 12 ounce beer.

Thursday night the HiToms welcome Martinsville to Finch Field for the first Thirsty Thursday of the 2011 season with one dollar select 12 ounce beer. It will also be beach party night, so make sure you come ready for a beach party and exciting Coastal Plain League baseball.
