August 3, 2020 - Wilson, N.C. - The Wilson Tobs Baseball Club regrets to announce the cancellation of the remainder of its 2020 game schedule due to team members testing positive for COVID-19.
The health and safety of our staff, coaches, players, fans and community has been the priority from the beginning. While we are extremely disappointed in this reality, we know this is the correct course of action moving forward.

July 29, 2020 - Wilson, N.C. - The Wilson Tobs Baseball Club is announcing the suspension of its 2020 Coastal Plain League schedule due to team members testing positive for COVID-19.
Following the identification of organizational members experiencing COVID-19 symptoms and the subsequent positive tests of a few players, the organization deemed a 'pause' in the schedule as the most prudent step towards ensuring the safety of all players, coaches, staff members, host families and fans.

July 24, 2020 - As Major League Baseball officially begins the 2020 season, the Lexington County Blowfish will be represented on Friday night.
Taylor Widener (University of South Carolina), a member of the inaugural Lexington County Blowfish in 2015, has received the call and will be on the Opening Day roster for the San Francisco Giants.
Widener becomes the first Lexington County Blowfish, and the fifth Blowfish overall to appear in the major leagues.

July 18, 2020 - Wilson, N.C. - The Wilson Tobs Baseball Club, summer collegiate baseball team, in cooperation with the North Carolina government and health officials, will continue enforcing its previously laid out policies as the state extends its phase two COVID-19 response.
Historic Fleming Stadium and Wilson Tobs home games will remain closed to the general public until otherwise stated. Wilson Tobs baseball games will continue to occur throughout phase two.
