Hitmen Trade Forward Tristan Zandee

Calgary, AB- The Calgary Hitmen Hockey Club have traded forward Tristan Zandee to the Lethbridge Hurricanes in exchange for a 2022 5th round pick in the 2022 WHL Prospects Draft.

"With 15 forwards currently on the roster, this trade presented us with an opportunity to reduce the front end, while allowing Tristan to have a fresh start." said General Manager Jeff Chynoweth.

"We thank him for all his contributions on and off the ice with the Calgary Hitmen"

Tristan Zandee was drafted by Calgary in the 2018 WHL Bantam Draft in the 2nd round (36th overall).The 2003 born forward from Airdrie spent the 2020-21 and 2021-22 season with Calgary, tallying 2 goals and 10 assists for 12 points in 36 regular season games.

The 2022 WHL Prospects Draft will be held Thursday, May 19, 2022. The Hitmen return to the ice tomorrow, Sunday, Nov. 28 against the Regina Pats. Note the special game time, 11:00 a.m. for another in another Sunday Funday at Scotiabank Saddledome.
