
Hitmen Earn Win at Vancouver

Vancouver, BC - The Calgary Hitmen extended their winning streak to four games with a 6-4 win over the Vancouver Giants Wednesday night at Pacific Coliseum.
Six different Hitmen scored in the win as Jake Virtanen, Jaynen Rissling, Brooks Macek, Danny Gayle, Chase Clayton and Collin Bowman all found the back of the net.
Clayton's goal was the game winner breaking a 4-4 third period tie with 4:15 remaining.
Cody Sylvester and Joey Kornelsen both chipped in a pair of assists as 11 different Hitmen has at least a single point.
The Hitmen wrapped up their five game tour of the BC Division picking up eight of a possible 10 games improving their overall record to 21-16-2-1.
The win also moves Calgary past Brandon and into a tie with the Saskatoon Blades for sixth in the Eastern Conference with 45 points.
The Hitmen will now play eight of their next nine games at Scotiabank Saddledome starting Sunday afternoon. Calgary welcomes the Lethbridge Hurricanes in a 2:00 p.m. start.
