Brandon, MB - Alex Gogolev scored twice as the Calgary Hitmen opened a five game road trip with a 6-3 win over the Brandon Wheat Kings Tuesday night at Westman Place.
Alex Roach, Jimmy Bubnick, Cody Sylvester, and Victor Rask also scored for Calgary who carried the play most of the night finishing with 41 shots on goal.
Darian Dziurzynski, Allessio Berttaggia and Mark Stone replied for Brandon who trailed 3-1 after the first period and 4-2 after forty minutes.
Calgary, 5-2-1-0 in their last seven games is now 11-10-1-1 on the season
The Hitmen are back in action tomorrow night in Moose Jaw before heading to Saskatoon Friday and Prince Albert Saturday.
Calgary returns to Scotiabank Saddledome on Friday, December 2, when they host the Spokane Chiefs. Puck drop is 7:00 p.m. for the Canada Safeway Ltd. Movember game.
