Calgary, AB - The Calgary Hitmen opened a two-game homestand tonight when they welcomed the Brandon Wheat Kings to Scotiabank Saddledome. It was a thrilling finish with Oliver Tulk completing a hat-trick to win the game 3-2 in overtime.

Oliver Tulk opened the scoring for the second straight game for his 36th of the season. The one goal lead was held by Calgary until the last seconds of the period when Brandon's Jayden Wiens was able to tie the game with two seconds remaining in the second period. Brandon would grab their first lead of the game just under five minutes into the final frame on the power from Nolan Flamand. With Ethan Buenaventura on the bench, a timely power play for Calgary resulted in Tulk's second goal of the game to tie it with 45 seconds remaining in regulation, forcing overtime.

A dangerous opportunity for Brandon was stopped by Ethan Buenaventura forcing a 2-on-1 the other direction with Oliver Tulk finishing a pass from Carter Yakemchuk to win the game 33 seconds into overtime.
